When conducting a link building campaign it is important to ensure that at least some of the links are of a high quality, as the search engines provide these with far more weight. Search engines look at a variety of indicators to decide what value a particular link has: is it from a trusted website? Is it on a page with one or two other links or is it listed alongside links to 500 other completely unrelated sites? Is the linking site well established? Is the content on the linking site related and relevant to yours? Is the link found within the body of the pages copy or is it listed in a separate section purely for links?Query
