Google Mobile ads, it’s a Numbers game

Google have announced recently on their Inside AdWords blog that they can now serve local telephone numbers in your mobile Ads.

As Google can detect where geographically your ads are being served, the AdWords system can now display local telephone numbers to potential customers. However this will not suite everyone as not all companies have different stores in different locations, but if you have many branches this is a better way to help your customers get the right store near them.

Google have stated that participants in the beta trial have seen increased click-through rates due to this new feature. If you would like to include local telephone numbers in your mobile ads then Google have provided this two step guide.

The beauty of Google mobile ads is that you pay per click-to-call which means you will only pay when a potential customer actually calls you. So if you’re not already using Google mobile ads then  this could be a great way to better connect with your customers.

If you are a first time advertiser with Google AdWords, they do supply you with free advertising from time to time so you can try it without cost, so look out for that.

Below is a video of how Google mobile ads work.
